The second patch for Weather Maker Pro 4.9 is now available to download.

 

Requirements are: 

 

1.)  You must have the full version of Weather Maker Pro 4.9
2.)  You must install the 1st patch for Weather Maker Pro

 

 

1.)  WideFS fixes
2.)  Auto load Real-Time weather now loads automatically when starting WMPRO
3.)  Fixes to Real-Time weather loading process

Looking at the past the year that so far looks to be the closest to this year for the US looks to be the El Nino Year of 77, 78.   If you look at the months leading up to December (that being Oct and Nov), the overall precip and temp averages are very much alike.  Especially for the southwest.  As a matter of fact it did not seem very El Ninoish so to speak.  I don't think this winter will be any different than that one.

 

When you look at Jan - Mar of 78 it was one of the Coldest Winters on record for pretty much all the US from the Rockies East.  But most of the Precip occuried over the Southwest and Southeast.

 

Obviously, there are many factors to play in this, but I am hopeful that Winter is coming.  Temperatures in the west will be above normal, but the east will be eventually in the deep freeze. 

 

I think many forecasters will have Egg on their face in that they are forecasting a warmer than normal winter for much of the east.  But of course at the end I may be the one with Egg on my face.  Only time will tell.
